These are designed to eliminate any residue left over from the distillation process and ensure that your home water distiller continues to produce 99.99% pure water. The Deluxe Water Distiller and Professional Water Distiller both come with a 250g bottle of cleaning crystals. This is a larger 500g bottle to use when your existing one runs out to keep your water distiller performing at its best. Keep your distiller in optimal condition with regular cleaning – after each distillation with a non-stick, non-scratch cleaner sponge and every 1-2 weeks with the cleaning crystals, especially if you live in a hard water area. Neglecting this crucial step can lead to a buildup of scale which can impede your distiller's performance and even cause damage. In addition to effectively removing tough residue left after water distillation, these crystals can also tackle other household scaling problems. Made primarily of citric acid monohydrate, a naturally occurring substance found in many plants including lemons and limes, our water distiller cleaning crystals are a safe and effective solution for maintaining optimal performance. Simply use two tablespoons per clean of your distiller to extend the lifespan of your appliance and keep your water production pure. Just pour 4L of water into your Water Distiller and mix in 2 tablespoons we mentioned of the cleaner. Remove the Water Distiller's lid and switch it on, throw away the water after 15-20 minutes. Set a timer for 20 minutes to prompt you!
