Washing & Care Instructions
Regular washing is recommended to maintain the conductivity of your grounding product. Washing removes body sweat and natural oils from the silver fibres, helping to keep them highly effective.
DO:
Wash every one to two weeks.
Machine wash with warm water (up to 40°C / 105°F)
Use a liquid laundry detergent (we recommend a gentle, natural formula)
Line dry or tumble dry on a low heat (up to 65°C / 150°F)
Iron on a low setting if desired
DO NOT:
Do not use bleach.
Do not use fabric softeners.
Do not use whitening or oxygen-based detergents.
Do not use heavily fragranced detergents (chemical or essential oil based).
Do not use dryer sheets.
Do not dry clean
Important Notes: Bleach, body lotions, and oils can tarnish the silver, reducing its conductivity. Fabric softeners leave a coating on the fibres that will eventually impair performance. Always check and clean your washing machine's detergent drawer to ensure no residues of powder detergents or whitening agents remain, as even small traces can damage the silver threads.
If using oils or lotions on the skin, it is best to wait at least one hour before using your grounding product.
