Sulphur Deficiency & the Heart... Pumping Life with MSM Organic Sulphur

Since 2014, I have developed a deep expertise in Sulphur, yet its remarkable benefits remain largely unknown to the public. Sulphur is an essential nutrient for the human body, and I have witnessed first-hand the transformative impact it can have on people's lives. A deficiency in this vital element can lead to significant consequences, particularly concerning cardiovascular health. Alarmingly, many modern diets fall short in Sulphur, which I believe plays a critical role in the rising prevalence of health issues, including heart disease.

Unfortunately, modern agricultural and dietary practices have led to widespread sulphur deficiencies. The fortification of food staples like grains and rice with vitamins and minerals often overlooks sulphur. Additionally, many sulphur-rich foods—such as grass-fed beef, organic eggs, garlic, and onions—are consumed less frequently today. Over-farming and the depletion of soil nutrients further exacerbate the issue, leading to diminished sulphur levels in both plant and animal food sources. Even water treatment processes, such as reverse osmosis, strip naturally occurring sulphur from drinking water, reducing our intake even further.

Sulphur... Function & Heart Health

Sulphur... Function & Heart Health

Still to this day no one in natural health is really talking about Sulphur, despite us selling it since 2014 I think it has yet to have its day as being recognised for how incredible it is. The official info on Sulphur is that it is a non-metallic element (atomic number 16), recognised scientifically to play an indispensable role in human biology. It is one of the 10 most abundant nutrients in the body, present in quantities comparable to potassium and exceeding sodium levels. Sulphur is a key component of proteins, amino acids, vitamins, and various biochemical processes that sustain life. It contributes to detoxification, cellular regeneration, and the structural integrity of skin, hair, and nails. In short, it is fundamental to our overall well-being. Now to the point of my article, that one of the most critical areas where Sulphur exerts its influence is in cardiovascular health. Within our circulatory system, a thin, protective layer known as the endothelial glycocalyx lines the blood vessels. This barrier plays a crucial role in regulating vascular function, controlling what enters and exits the artery walls. Notably, sulphur is a major component of the glycocalyx, suggesting that a sulphur deficiency may contribute to the development of atherosclerosis, a leading cause of heart disease. Additionally, Sulphur is an integral part of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant composed of cysteine, glutamine, and glycine. Glutathione performs several essential functions, including: Neutralising free radicals to reduce oxidative stress. Acting as an anti-inflammatory agent. Detoxifying the body by binding to harmful toxins and heavy metals, making them water-soluble for easier excretion.

Sulphur Deficiency

Without sufficient Sulphur, the production of glutathione is compromised, leading to increased oxidative stress and inflammation—both of which are linked to heart disease. I propose that no one is getting enough Sulphur and also, what really is enough Sulphur? What is the difference between some agreed concept that a certain amount keeps you alive and another dose makes you absolutely thrive? For years we have seen unbelievable results with MSM Organic Sulphur. I have it in the recommend for Heart Health section at the site, but even I have learned more recently how this is as if not more vital than Magnesium in Heart Health. Later I'll list the foods containing Sulphur, which may be missing from your diet. Moreover it's likely environmental toxins like glyphosate (commonly found in herbicides) are contributing to sulphur deficiency. Dr. Stephanie Seneff, an expert on glyphosate toxicity, has suggested that heart disease may be linked to a deficiency in cholesterol sulphate, which glyphosate disrupts. By damaging gut bacteria and interfering with the body's natural sulphur pathways, glyphosate may further contribute to cardiovascular disease and other chronic illnesses.

Amino Acids, Sulphur, and Cardiovascular Function

Amino acids are the fundamental building blocks of proteins, and several key amino acids—such as cysteine, methionine, and cystine—contain Sulphur. Methionine, an essential amino acid, cannot be synthesised by the body and must be obtained from dietary sources. Meanwhile, cysteine and cystine can be produced internally but require adequate Sulphur intake to do so effectively.

Other sulphur-containing compounds, such as homocysteine and taurine, are equally important. Homocysteine, when unregulated, is associated with an increased risk of heart attacks, strokes, and neurodegenerative diseases. However, excessively low homocysteine levels can also be problematic, highlighting the need for balance. Taurine, on the other hand, supports cardiovascular health by aiding digestion (as a component of bile salts), reducing blood pressure, and helping to maintain a stable heart rhythm.

This sheds light I feel more and more on why the above Aminos are so effective, but I am adamant the way forward is our Organic Sulphur. I know I'm repeating myself but the large doses seem to be the magic. I just don't feel the establishment in health has enough knowledge on Sulphur amounts. Even most supplements of it where the ingredient is just MSM the dose is nothing, maybe two 500mg capsules. I have people take up to 20g and beyond a day. Of course it is cycled, but at one point I did weeks of 25g a day.

Food Sources of Sulphur

Food Sources of Sulphur

Although I really am banging on about the MSM Organic Sulphur we have and using that, you can eat for it. Sulphur is present in a wide variety of foods, particularly in cruciferous vegetables such as Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and cabbage, as well as in allium vegetables like onions and garlic. However, some of the richest sources include:

  • Seafood
  • Eggs (which, contrary to outdated misconceptions, do not contribute to heart disease)
  • Raw dairy from grass-fed animals

Garlic, I thought I'd elaborate on this over the others as it really is a potent sulphur-rich food that offers numerous cardiovascular benefits, Including: Reducing plaque formation in the arteries. Lowering blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Decreasing LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Acting as a natural blood thinner by inhibiting platelet aggregation. Exhibiting anti-C properties, reducing the risk of prostate and lung issues. Functioning as a natural antimicrobial and detoxifying agent. We have Black Aged Garlic Bulbs, I think they're great, but you can have normal Garlic too. Both are powerhouses.

You can drink Sulphur too

Natural spring water is another excellent source of sulphur, but many water purification processes remove it. Pellegrino mineral water stands out as a particularly rich source of sulphur and is an excellent alternative to artificially fortified drinks. You can find it in glass bottles too.

Powerful Heart Support

MSM Organic Sulphur: A Powerful Supplement

Now I did the right thing and told you the food options, I can lament the MSM Organic Sulphur supplement. Given the widespread deficiency of dietary sulphur, supplementation may be the only way to get things really back on point and to maintain optimal health. Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), a naturally occurring, bioavailable form of organic sulphur. MSM is only found in small amounts in food but has been extensively studied for its potential benefits, including:

Reducing inflammation and oxidative stress, key contributors to heart disease.

Enhancing joint health by supporting collagen production and reducing arthritis symptoms.

Aiding detoxification by binding to heavy metals and facilitating their removal from the body.

Strengthening the immune system through its role in glutathione synthesis.

Improving circulation and endothelial function, which may lower the risk of atherosclerosis

Dr. George Mann, a renowned researcher, demonstrated as early as 1960 that sulphur supplementation could protect primates from atherosclerosis. His findings remain relevant today, as MSM continues to show promise in maintaining cardiovascular health and overall well-being. So given its vital role in cardiovascular function, cellular repair, and detoxification, sulphur is an essential. With modern diets and environmental factors leading to widespread deficiencies, increasing sulphur intake through food, water, and supplementation—particularly with MSM—may be a crucial strategy for protecting heart health and overall well-being. But I have one more thing to mention...

A Powerful Supplement

Add in Magnesium Oil Spray - For Powerful Heart Support

Don't just repair with MSM add in another crucial nutrient for heart health... Magnesium, often overlooked despite its profound effects on cardiovascular function. Magnesium is essential for over 300 enzymatic processes in the body, including those that regulate blood pressure, heart rhythm, and muscle function. One of the most effective ways to increase magnesium levels is through our Magnesium Oil Spray, which allows for transdermal absorption—bypassing the digestive system and delivering magnesium directly into the bloodstream. Benefits of magnesium oil spray for heart health include:

Regulating blood pressure: Magnesium relaxes blood vessels, reducing hypertension and lowering the risk of heart disease.

Preventing arrhythmias: Magnesium plays a key role in maintaining a stable heart rhythm, reducing the likelihood of palpitations and irregular heartbeats.

Supporting vascular function: Magnesium aids in endothelial function, preventing arterial stiffness and promoting better circulation.

Reducing inflammation: Chronic inflammation is a major driver of heart disease, and magnesium helps to lower inflammatory markers in the body.

Enhancing muscle function: As the heart is a muscle, magnesium is essential for maintaining its strength and endurance.

Many people are unknowingly magnesium-deficient due to poor dietary intake, chronic stress, and high consumption of processed foods. Magnesium oil spray is an easy and effective way to restore levels and support heart health naturally. This article was supposed to just be on MSM Organic Sulphur, but every time I write one it can extend into a book. But these 2 together are incredible, they will help, you can find a lot of heart health info at Ancient Purity but I still have to add in here that CoQ10, Hawthorn and Vitamin D3 need to be in your protocol. Then of course a whole food organic diet and exercise based on where you are now and gradually increasing. I have to stop myself here, love your heart and blessed be, Tom.
