But as I always say, science is catching up very slowly to the knowledge of the ancients. I have interest in the very rare Gumby Gumby tree. I love plant medicines and ancient cures, in fact I read about it in this book (pictured above) think I must of found it travelling years ago. By the way Kakadu Plum is also an incredible Aussie health food! We have the powder and the syrup, it's the richest source of Vitamin C on earth, but that's another story. There are a few classifications of the Gumby Gumby Tree the 2 main are Pittosporum Phillyraeoides and Pittosporum Angustifolium, but the one variety hailed for its constituent properties is Pittosporum Angustifolium, with about 20 known botanical varieties… all of which contain beneficial qualities. Here is what I Do...
- Fill a pot with a half litre of filtered & structured water.
- Add a teaspoon of Gumby Gumby Tea.
- Allow it to simmer and steep for 5 - 20 minutes, both methods report benefits.
- Add a little bit of Kakadu Plum Syrup or Honey to sweeten.
