Life at Ancient Purity, well it's Christmas now here, so I'm going to talk Father Christmas. I actually quite like Christmas, it is more than just a season; it’s a time of magic, reflection, and connection. From multi-coloured lights to the nostalgic aroma of mulled wine, the festive period invites us to step into a world where traditions weave together in beautiful, unexpected ways.

I decided rather than writing another big Health Guide, I'd write about Rocket salad. I love to make salads, they're easy, colourful and a way to get some incredible nutrition into you while still feeling light. Salads are usually totally living, I grow a lot of stuff by the kitchen window, so they're picked fresh. A base of mine is regularly Arugula, also commonly known as "Rocket Salad" or simply "Rocket" here in England and several other parts of the world.

This is massive subject to under take, imagine I have 15 years of notes in a draft email, endless new info, totally different perspectives from the natural to conventional field. But I am now at the end of 2024 going to consolidate and update. I have to use all this stuff when giving info on blood pressure, but also a huge part is really what is the cause and what to do. Hypertension, or high blood pressure diagnoses are rising steadily each decade.

My introduction to this incredible natural product was back in 2019, I was travelling with my friend James, who worked for United Airlines. Good times indeed and we were in what you'd call the Appalachian region of the US, this technically stretches along the eastern side of the country, running from southern New York State down through Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and into northern Alabama and Mississippi.

For years, I considered jet lag to be for wimps or an overblown excuse for grumpiness. I just never ever understood what people were on about. Travelling the globe from the age of 19, I loved crossing boarders and time zones with barely a second thought. But, as life would have it, jet lag finally caught up with me. The first time was a brutal wake-up call, and it didn’t stop there.
