Freedom Over Jet Lag

Freedom Over Jet Lag
For years, I considered jet lag to be for wimps or an overblown excuse for grumpiness. I just never ever understood what people were on about. Travelling the globe from the age of 19, I loved crossing boarders and time zones with barely a second thought. But, as life would have it, jet lag finally caught up with me. The first time was a brutal wake-up call, and it didn’t stop there.

Earth’s Superstar
I worship the Sun! That magnificent celestial powerhouse! It was this brilliant star that inspired my leap of faith to relocate to the tropical land of Thailand back in 2001. After years of enduring the grey, often gloomy Dutch rainy climate, I found myself yearning for a brighter, sunnier existence. I firmly believed that embracing life in a sun-kissed destination would not only elevate my spirits but also enhance my overall well-being.

The Healing Tremella Mushroom
Twice a week, I indulge in the delightful freshness of Tremella Mushrooms, a culinary treasure that has become an inevitable part of my routine. Here in Thailand, these exquisite fungi are a vibrant addition to Yum Woonsen, the beloved Thai glass noodle salad. This dish holds a special place in my heart, intertwining my appreciation for fresh ingredients with a symphony of flavours that dance on the palate.

Although it shares some similarities with acne, it is distinctly different, characterised by several symptoms which may include: Redness across the cheeks, nose, forehead, and/or chin. Noticeable small blood vessels on the face. Facial spots or pimples.

Time Well Spent
How do you really feel about the concept of spending time on your own? I have heard so many different answers to this question. And I think an element of the answer could depend on which stage of life you are in of course and your unique circumstances. For example, teenagers generally like to socialise and be around others perhaps more than those in their 30’s after a long day at work who would want nothing more than an evening to themselves and to NOT socialise at all – speaking from experience of course, and certainly not meaning to paint us all with the same brush.
